Automotive
All sealing components for automotive are considered as automotive gaskets. For example, cylinder head gaskets, exhaust gaskets, intake-exhaust manifold gaskets, powershift gaskets, valve cover gaskets, differential gaskets, oil pan gaskets etc.
Construction machinery, such as dozer, compressor, grader, gaskets are also considered as automotive gaskets.
Gasket material varies depending upon the specific application. For example, heat and pressure resistance are desired at cylinder head gaskets, while oil sealing is more important for powershift gaskets.
Gasket thickness is another important factor. When cylinder head is grinded, the original thickness gasket cannot be used. Instead, a thicker gasket, which is as thick as grinding amount, should be produced and used. With the rising demand for tuning of engines, this type of applications got popular. To serve this demand, custom manufacturing is needed. And the variety of gasket materials also fulfills this demand.
